its fine for a beginner, but realize that you are going to get what you pay for. These clubs are not very expensive because they are made from cheaper materials. I am sure that primary component is aluminum, rather than titanium or stainless steel. Now, if you don’t hit the ball very hard, that will probably be ok for now. But if you swing at it with any force at all, you are going to want clubs made from stainless steel.

Starter sets tend to be of lesser quality then if you put the set together yourself, ie, Buying the Driver, Fairway woods, Irons and Putter separately ! My advise for you would be to buy Second hand Clubs !! That way you get the quality at an affordable price !! Any golf shop assistant will/should be able to help you out or you could check out what’s available in the store and check the comments on those clubs on golfreview.com
