Golf Tips – The Simplest Suite Of Advice For The Golf Enthusiast

The most crucial factor in hitting the golf ball cleanly and consistently is the ability to get “under” the ball with the front side of the swing. This means contacting the minimum of the swing arc with the target spot on the ball.
This advocates contacting the ball prior to the floor.
One can cultivate this feel by drawing a demarcation on the ground with a tee or stick. One can also space a row of tees approximately 6-8 inches apart, perpendicular to the object ball. Pace up and down the line and strike until one creates divots consistently a-front the starting line. Balls can then replace the tees or be positioned between them.
Once this drill is perfected, control, accuracy and dynamism of iron swings will be markedly improved.
The Wood game
Poor contact can be attributed to golfers not being able to hit the golf ball especially the driver.
A drill to improve the above is this:
Stick a tee into the ground protruding circa 2.5-3.5cm out. One should be able to hit the tee time and again without touching the ground. If the former is unsuccessful , continue the drill without using a ball until one can consistently strike the tee without brushing the ground; the longer the golf club the higher the precision needed.
Good contact equates to quality feedback on shots; the next step would then be mastery of directional control.
The Short Game
One big secret to the short games is the chip and go. Its is indisputably the go-to shot for newbies who have not yet learnt how to putt.
The majority of short game shots from the edge of the green are engaged via a chip and run method. The rest comprise of putts from green perimeters, bunker and pitches.
The trick is to get the golf ball’s trajectory on the ground predictable and controllable as soon as practically possible. This does not mean that the aforementioned has to shadow the ground so much so that it becomes an impossible shot to manipulate; it implies that the golf ball should be as close to the grass as possible. A loft wedge could also be used and in this case the shot is re-labelled “pitch and run”.
That said, there is a fine line between the last point and an actual pitch shot; the beginner golfer should not be attempting this before solid technique is inculcated.

Golf gloves are made to make gripping the golf club easier. Sweat on the hand can loosen the grip on the club, but golf gloves keep the grip firm and steady. Golf gloves, similarly to winter gloves, also keep the hands warm on colder days. It is common to only wear one glove when playing golf however in the winter golfers usually wear two. Winter golf gloves for additional warmth during the coldest months.

Golf Wedges - huge stocks now in!
By now most of you will have probably heard about the rule change that is going to affect the wedge. The new grooves must be smaller and much shallower in comparison. According to the USGA’s website, “The revisions are designed to restore the playing shots to the green from the rough by reducing backspin on those shots. The initial focus of the new rules will be competitions involving highly skilled professional golfers and will have little impact on the play of most golfers.”
